Chapter 3 China culture lecture

These days, the coordinator arranged me that I should give a lecture about China culture in the local high school. It was a good chance that I could communicate with the local students and knew something about Spain culture. When met with the professor of the high school, he told me that the students had low level English, and suggested me that I should use simple words and short sentences.

The following days I adjusted the content of the presentation, and put compared content between China and Spain culture and also applied more pictures and videos. On Friday morning, I came to the high school with a volunteer and gave the lecture in the classroom. During the lecture, I used my body language and try my best to exchange with then rather than just input knowledge. The students were interested in the presentation very much and we talked a lot about our own culture actively. Some students said that they wanted to go to China in the future.

Through the experience during the stay, I understood that non-formal education is more acceptable during our life.
