APPLICATION FORM:

 

General profile of volunteers:

The volunteers:

  • are legal residents in one of these countries: Spain, France, Italy, India, Indonesia, Thailand or Mexico

  • 18 – 30 years old

  • motivated to engage him or herself into the activities described in the project in the serious and continuous way,

  • possess the sense of responsibility and adaptability,

  • interests related to the project activities,

  • willing to participate in all the stages of the project – including preparation, evaluation and then dissemination and exploitation of results,

  • motivation to implement the follow up activity,

  • to have a valid passport min. 6 months after the activity finish (or able to provide the scanned valid Passport during the application)

  • preference will be given to unemployed young people, specially to long term unemployed (over 6 months) and candidates with little or no international mobility experience

 

Specific volunteers profile per sending country:

  • Spain: the top priority will be given to the volunteers from Region of Murcia.

  • Italy: the priority will go to youngster coming from Region of Emilia Romagna

  • France: the priority will go for youngsters from the Region of Pau

 

Selection procedure:

  1. All candidates must fill out the application form online.

  2. Deadline for submitting the application is 01/08/2018 (Except candidates from Thailand and Indonesia as due to visa procedure selection already has been done)

  3. Sending organizations evaluates all the applications based on the previously mentoned criteria and furthermore:

    • Volunteer must have specific personal or professional interest related to the theme of the hosting project

    • Once back in his/her country, volunteer must be willing to committ in spreading information about his/her experience and make use of his learning possibly within the SO activities.

    • Volunteer must show the interest in the project by gathering information about the hosting country and start some preparation work on his/her own.

    • Volunteer is preferably already active in the SO

    • priority will be given to the unemployed volunteers, and in case of Spain from the Region of Murcia, Region of Pau in France.

  4. Sending organization sends the applications of pre-selected candidates to the host organization

  5. Host organization selects the most suitable candidates based on:

    • the application forms and CVs received by SO

    • skype interviews with the candidates

    • opinion by the SO

  6. The final decision will be taken by SO and HO organization, in consultation with other partners to ensure that there is a gender balance (+/- 2  is allowed, meaning out of 21 volunteer min 10, max 13 must be the same sex, and all genders are encouraged to apply), and the project will target unemployed youth.

  7. The decissions will be known by 10th of August 2018.

 

Volunteers by applying will agree to fulfil all the responsibilities including:

  • write min. one blog entry per month on their experience

  • prepare photo exhibition of their project in the local community after return and the dissemination event

  • plan the possible further involvement together with sending organization

  • promote (online and offline) EVS and Erasmus+ program
